VIP Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Custom Conversion Van

Approached by a private client who truly aimed to perform a custom conversion that pushed the boundaries of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, HQ was tasked with developing a prestigious travel space that features a superb comfort, a multitude of interior amenities, a number of electronics / entertainment options and refined class. Our client specified that this vehicle was dedicated foremost for his personal usage, as he planned to use the Sprinter van to travel to and from his offices in Manhattan and to his different apartments within the surrounding boroughs and suburbs. Besides himself, other planned chauffeured passengers includes family / relatives, in addition to occasional business associates and colleagues with use propagated towards relaxation and productive uses as well.

An Atmospheric Passenger Cabin Exhibiting Pure Luxuriousness

Passengers are welcomed upon entry to an elegant and refined light beige interior that is complemented by light gray wood like flooring along with elaborate diamond stitching on the captain chairs and ceiling. Of course, all attention is at first commandeered by the gorgeous 65” multimedia skyroof video TV display that is capable of generating a number of custom (optional 3D) custom wallpapers and footage showcasing various environments ranging from to the deep cosmos to lush African rainforests. Supplemented with LED lighting that can change to multiple different colors along with the front and rear TV displays, passengers are able to immerse themselves fully into their ideal environment.  

Seating Options That Feel Even Better Than They Look

All of the 4 captain chairs are composed of custom private jet styled Halo leather upholstery featuring diamond stitch patterns. Captain seating includes a 6-way power base to allow for multiple motorization options including leg extensions, custom armrests, lumbar support, heating pad, cooling fan, lumbar support, and vibrating massage. On touch control operation allows passengers to operate seating positions and options with streamlined ease, as memory functionality saves time for frequent users with multiple save-able option slots. Each captain chair is complemented by an adjacent wood finished glaze retractable tables that extend outwards from the side compartments. Tables are perfect for using as a stand for a laptop or mobile device, as well as for eating food or a light snack off of. In the rear lies a set of 3 custom bench seats upholstered to match the captain chairs, which can comfortably fit 2 additional passengers while 3 holding may be a bit tight depending on the size of each person. Within the cockpit, driver and copilot seating are reupholstered in our HQ style to seamlessly match the other 7 chairs within the passenger cabin.

A Plethora of Entertainment Options to Keep Everyone Well Occupied

Besides endless staring at the video ceiling, passengers have a wide range of entertainment travel options to use during their commutes. Foremost, the cabin is equipped with an onboard WiFi router for passengers to connect their laptops or mobile devices for high-speed Internet and to save their cellular data. Furthermore for true entertainment, a Sony Playstation 4 is included that is able to connect to the PlayStation Network to allow for a stable connection to multiplayer game servers, even when in transit. In addition an Apple TV is included for two aspects, with the first being its immediate use as a media streaming for movies / TV shows and the latter for its ability to mirror Apple device displays via AirPlay that incorporates well with someone attempting to perform mobile video presentations or conferences. Storage options within the passenger cabin includes a small cabinet above the PS4 and a long rear cabinet above the 32” TV display. The cabin is equipped with an audiophile surround sound system that features two front speakers against front the front partition wall on opposing sides of the 55” TV display, as well as 2 rear speakers and a sub-woofer unit.

Further Featured Additional Options

For communication with the driver cabin, a wired telephone intercom system is included next to the left forwards facing captain chair. Furthermore, electrostatic glass and a solid divider is included that is capable of retracting to enable concise communication with the passenger cabin. Even more so, all cabin electronics including sound, video and lighting options are controlled via an iPad control system developed exclusively by HQ. In addition, a drawer refrigerator is included the bottom tier of the middle console that enables for cool storage of food and beverages while in commute.

Exterior Options and Modifications

In terms of exterior work, HQ included a motorized retractable step into the passenger cabin that allows for swift entry and exit from the van. For a more comfortable experience for passengers, a VB air suspension is installed that enables for a lesser bumpy ride. For the aesthetic appeals, a custom front bumper with fiberglass broads and side moldings, along with a new set of 18” rims and tires are included with a semi black gloss finish. Furthermore, a rear cargo partition is incorporated to enable for luggage and load storage within the trunk space, which is further equipped with rear clothing hangers and racks for wrinkle-free transport of clothing outfits.
