Ford Transit Luxury Mobile Office

Recently, HQ Custom Design built a Ford Transit luxury mobile office conversion that features an opulent and private travel space. The vehicle was designed to provide a refined travel experience for loved ones and business associates alike. Our team enjoyed the opportunity to push the boundaries of the Ford Transit chassis while working on this project. HQ developed a fully customized Ford Transit van that offers both relaxation and a productive work environment.

A First-Class Travel Environment

The Ford Transit luxury mobile office is designed to welcome passengers, upon entry, with a beige interior that is contemporary and art deco inspired. The rich cabin interior composed wood laminated partition wall, cabinetry, and retractable tables along with the wood-like flooring elements all work aesthetically synchronize to create a one-of-one vehicle.

Both of the captain chairs are upholstered in luxurious Halo leather and are embroidered to feature diamond stitch patterns. The seats came with a 6-way power base that enables multiple motorization options, such as vibrating massage, ergonomic lumbar support, cooling and heating elements; armrests, and leg extensions. That’s not all. Each captain chair is complemented by an aviation retractable table, which extends outward from the side compartments. These tables can be used for light snack consumption, as a temporary stand for a smartphone or laptop, and more. In addition, a middle console refrigerator allows for the cool storage of beverages and light snacks/meals mid-transit.

 

An Elegant Travel Space for Work and Play

Time is money; when it comes to working, our clients prefer to attend to it immediately, as there is no room for procrastination. A front separation wall is included to create separation between the driver and passenger cabin with a 40″ TV display and partition cabinet. The large cabinet unit features a total of 8 individual drawers for passengers to store all sorts of personal items and electronics. With an onboard Apple TV, our client is able to hold video conferences and presentations with his business associates and colleagues with ease. In addition, a printer/fax machine is included to scan important documents and print out schematics on-the-go. When work is totally out of the way and it’s time to relax, our client can make use of the audiophile surround sound system within the cabin. A cabin Wifi router ensures there is always a stable WiFi connection for mobile devices and onboard electronics. Lastly, the passenger cabin includes climate controls and AC outlets for charging devices.

Built for Maximum Privacy and Storage

It is only natural that our client requires some alone time in his first-class transport. Motorized window shades were installed to block unwanted sunlight and looks from curious passerby individuals. A wired telephone intercom system was installed in our client’s vehicle, in order to communicate with the driver and co-pilot with ease. Even more so, comfort for the driver cabin is ensured with front seat recovers for both chairs. A rear partition wall is incorporated to form a dedicated storage area for any personal belongings and work materials. Multi-tiered storage shelves provide the optimal amount for compact storage.
