11 Passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Family Van

Recently, we had a client asking for a van that could accommodate a large extended family for touring across the U.S and to their summer houses and other seasonal vacation homes. HQ was the perfect place to come to, as our experience specializing in the conversion of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Shuttle buses that fit anywhere from 11 to 17 passengers provided versatility to our design approach. Above all, this is build had a prime focus in providing comfortable luxurious seating, storage space, safety and entertainment amenities for all passengers. Upon entrance the van features a refined light beige interior with matching beige and brown diamond stitched captain chairs. Such are complemented by the elegant wood laminated wood valances, large table and brown wood-like flooring. Manual window shades are included for each specific row of seating to control light and privacy exposure. Each window includes an emergency escape handles, in addition to an emergency ceiling hatch and of course the front sliding door. Furthermore, above each chair lies a overhead luggage racks illuminated by LED lighting for storing personal belongings and carry-on luggage mid transit. Below each rack and above each set of chairs are LED reading lights and air conditioning ducts for each passenger to read and/or cool off at their preference. As mentioned, the rear features a large wood laminated table with cup holders for the first 2 rows of rear passengers facing one another. From eating a light meal / snack off of or playing a card / board game off of, the table proves to be a notable and useful additions.

Made for Cross-Country Traveling for Children & Adults

Since the family would be traveling long distances, the seats needed to be both comfortable and durable, in addition to being equipped for satisfying both children and adults. With this in mind, rather than using coach chairs, as is the norm for such high planned passenger capacity vans, 17-inch frame Halo vinyl upholstered luxury captain chairs were used. Each chair had 2-point belts, the ability to recline back, along with adjustable headrest and armrests. In addition to AC ducts and LED reading lights, each row of seats had adjacent USB and AC outlets for charging mobile devices and other electronics while traveling.

Plenty of On-board Entertainment 

For entertainment purposes, an overhead bulkhead TV cabinet was included in between the driver and passenger cabins that housed a 32-inch TV display along with two front speakers. The TV was connected to an Apple TV device for streaming movies and TV shows, along with a rear radio for listening to AM / FM stations and connected a device to play music via Bluetooth. In addition to the front speakers, there is an entire surround system with elite JL speakers, amplifiers and subwoofers. In between the driver and copilot reupholstered chairs, instead of the middle console lies a refrigerator for chilling food and beverages.  

An Unique Adventure Camper Van Exterior Look 

For the exterior, the client and their family had envisioned for a more adventurous look to the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. With this motivation, we had a offered a series of options to tailor and personalize the outside of the van to their preferred liking. Ultimately, our client had modified the wheels with new stylish cub haps, as well as tweaking the sides of the van with aluminum running boards. To improve entry and exit from the van, a driver and passenger aluminum side power sliding step was included, along with a power sliding door. For providing cross-country and camper face to the Sprinter van, a bumper guard with fog lights was included to give it that desired look to it. What resulted is a van with an exterior that is as unique as it look on the outside, as it appears and works on the inside of it.
