At HQ Custom Design, we were hired by a medical services provider to build a custom mobile medical testing van so that they could better meet the needs of their clients.

These were some of the medical testing services that our client provides to help keep businesses OSHA compliant, as well as ensure that job sites are compliant for state and/or federal government contracts.

Custom Van Interior

The client needed to add partitions to increase efficiency and safety, reduce noise and distractions, and improve climate control in their mobile medical testing van. HQ Custom Design proceeded to create a custom interior plan that consisted of a front partition and a second room with a separate door. Partitions have helped our client keep their mobile medical testing van organized and maximize every floor space.

Next, the client required a constant supply of water and need to access it multiple times a day. HQ Custom Design installed a vanity with a working sink and faucet. The client’s medical team could then keep their hands and medical testing tools clean while on the go.

Reliable Cooling System

Certain medical equipment needs to be stored or operated in an environment that has a consistent temperature. Therefore, the client opted for an A/C and climate control system that allow passengers and workers to feel comfortable and ensure that certain medical tools do not overheat.

Spacious Workspace and Storage Solutions

A large office table was installed to accommodate a touchscreen computer, mouse, keyboard, and neatly stored office supplies. In addition, file cabinets and ceiling cabinets were installed to keep documents and folders out of sight until they are needed again. The weather isn’t always kind and to avoid heavily depending on natural light, a bright LED lighting system was installed to illuminate the interior of the van. This way, our client’s medical team could work without squinting their eyes due to dim lighting and reduce human error while conducting medical tests.

Van Safety and Accessibility Features

The client’s mobile medical testing vehicle featured an automated power door and they decided to pair with a motorized step that perfectly fitted under the sliding door. The power step is designed to automatically deploy as the door opens and closes. It can even retract and emerge on extreme slopes. What’s more, the van’s motorized steps are feature a non-skid and weatherproof surface, overload protection, electronic limit protection, and electronic circuit protection for increased safety.
