In accordance with standard manufacturer warranties on the particular vehicle chassis, all of our conversions come with a limited parts and labor warranty of 3 years or 36,000 miles (whichever occurs first) covering all upgrades performed by HQ Custom Design Inc. 1 year warranty is provided for any electronics installed by HQ Custom Design Inc.

Yes, depending on credit and approval. Clients are able to finance the cost of their vehicle and the conversion via Mercedes-Benz Financial if preferred.

Most of our projects take an estimated range of 8-12 weeks to perform once all components of the build are finalized however this is not guaranteed and is subject to change depending upon the complexity of the specific build and work scope adjustments due to factors outside of our immediate control. HQ Custom Design strives to meet estimated completion times in conjunction with our rigorous standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Absolutely not, we avoid a cookie-cutter approach to provide our clients true build flexibility and freedom to define the layout configuration to ensure satisfaction from their custom van / SUV. We offer our engineering, craftsmanship, and design experience in completing numerous van and SUV conversion projects to the table. By working closely with each client, we develop a floor plan that suits their travel needs and budget requirements.

All of our custom vans and SUVs are custom-made per client order and request. Clients are able to provide their own van / SUV for the conversion if already owned. If a vehicle chassis requires to be purchased first, HQ Custom Design can assist in using our network of trusted dealers to locate the proper vehicle for the specific conversion. If preferred, clients can choose to go through their own local dealers.

Before shopping for a vehicle, it is best and preferred to talk to us first regarding what are you looking to perform within your van and how you are planning on utilizing it. We are more than capable of helping our clients select a vehicle chassis that works for their travel needs and budget. In addition, we can also aid in locating a proper van for their specific conversion from our vast network of dealers.

Depending on the vehicle chosen, we are able to arrange for the vehicle to be dropped off / shipped to our facility straight from the dealership or factory. Once a chassis is selected, we begin with developing a floor plan and providing an estimate on the particular conversion listing out all base features and additional options available at an extra cost.

Once a floor plan is selected and all components within the build are finalized, we then proceed to the selection of seat designs, interior colors, and finishes of fabrics/woods incorporated. From there, we provide an invoice that requires a deposit before commencing any production, along with an estimated completion date.

Any issues arising from your custom van / SUV should be brought to the attention of HQ Custom Design first and foremost. From there, we will confirm if the vehicle falls within our warranties and provide our diagnosis on the particular issue. Then, we will either handle it ourselves or recommend a specific repair facility.
