Executive VIP Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Custom Conversion Van

HQ Custom Design had the recent pleasure of working with Alpha Priority Worldwide, a concierge travel service that specializes in airport meet and greet services for VIPs and other professional clientele, in order to build a custom executive VIP Mercedes-Benz Sprinter to add to their fleet of vehicles for ground transportation. Our client aimed to create a luxurious private travel environment suitable for a multitude of priority first-class clients, filled with a plethora of features and amenities aimed for entertainment and refinement. What was delivered was a custom Sprinter van used by celebrities, sports athletes, and other professionals from the business, entertainment and arts industries.

What Counts is on the Inside…

Upon entrance, passengers are greeted by a stylish piano black and white interior that is complemented by light gray wood-like flooring and elaborate diamond stitching pattern on the ceiling and captain chairs. Featuring seating capacity able to fit a total of 7 passengers within the passenger cabin space, the main highlights are the 2 forward facing VIP custom captain chairs featuring leg extensions, power recline, lumbar support, heat and vibrating massage elements. Furthermore, 2 rearwards facing captain chairs against  the front partition provide additional seating space, along with a rear bi-fold bed that is capable of retracting outwards into a full bed ideal for taking a quick nap on. Supplemented with an RGB ‘Maybach’ LED ceiling that is capable of shifting to a number of different colors to allow passengers to choose lighting colors that corresponds with their mood and ideal environment, which is further complemented by LED lighting.

A Plethora of Entertainment Options in an Elegant Travel Space

In terms of entertainment options, the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is loaded with 2 TV displays comprised of a front Samsung 55” UHD TV display and a rear 32” HD LED TV to be used by forwards and rearwards facing passengers respectively. The passenger cabin is equipped with an Internet WiFi router to enable passengers to remain connected throughout their travel commute, without need of using their cellular data. WiFi capability within the passenger cabin enables for cabin electronics such as the Sony PlayStation 4 console, Roku TV and Apple TV to use their online service functions. Play your favorite video games either online or offline in a high-end home theater like surround sound setup composed of front / rear speakers and a sub-woofer that are a splendor to all behold and atmospheric to say the least. By the same token, the PS4 is capable of connecting to the Playstation Network to play multiplayer games with online friends even when the van is in motion.

Equipped for Accomplishing a Mix of Work and Play

Both the Roku TV and the Apple TV are able to be used as streaming devices for using app channels such as Netflix, Amazon Prime to enable passengers to continue binging their favorite TV show series on-the-go or watching a movie for longer rides. Roku TV player is ideal for those who are seeking to catch up on more foreign media content, while the Apple TV has the unique AirPlay function that allows all Apple devices to mirror their respective displays onto the Apple TV to be view-able on the big screen for all passengers. In particular, the latter feature described is able to be used for commercial applications as means of video conferencing or holding presentations with colleagues and business associates.

Built to be Intuitive, Built for Privacy  and Built to Last 

All cabin electronics are controlled through our HQ exclusive iPad controls that aim to streamline all electronics controls for lighting, audio, media, seating and other cabin amenities are operated through a single central unit. Our touch panel is aimed to be intuitive to use, and is operated with relative ease once initial instruction on how to use properly is provided. For communication with the driver cabin, a wired telephone intercom system is included next to the left forwards facing captain chair. Furthermore, electrostatic glass and a solid divider is included that is capable of retracting to enable concise communication with the passenger cabin. In addition, a drawer refrigerator is included the bottom tier of the middle console that enables for cool storage of food and beverages while in commute.

Or is What is on the Outside that Counts?

In terms of exterior work, HQ included side steps to the passenger cabin entrance and driver / co-pilot doors that allows for swift entry and exit from the van. For a more comfortable ride experience for passengers, a VB air suspension was included to allow for a less bumpy ride. For the pure aesthetics, a custom front bumper with fiberglass broads and side moldings are included. Even more so, complimented with a new set of 18” rims and tires with a semi black gloss finish adds a further layer of appeal. Furthermore, a rear cargo partition is incorporated to enable for luggage and load storage within the trunk space, which is further equipped with rear clothing hangers and racks for wrinkle-free transport of clothing outfits.
