Luxury Custom Mercedes-Benz Metris Conversion

HQ Custom Design is pleased to announce the latest entry into our line of Mercedes-Benz Metris luxury custom conversions. For this project, HQ was approached by a private client who was looking to build a van for private use for traveling with family and business partners alike. Emphasis was placed in creating a custom travel environment that is comfortable, elegant, and sleek.

 

The Perfect Vehicle to Ride First Class

The Mercedes-Benz Metris proved to be the perfect chassis for this custom conversion. Designed to be used as a smaller alternative to the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the Metris is midsize van designed with an urban setting in mind and built to handle with exceptional ease. The European quality embodied in the vehicle is simply impressive, as it is one of the preferred chassis for fleet operators, limousine companies, hospitality services, executive VIPs, and families across the globe.

 

Feels Like a Slice of Heaven

For this build, the customized Metris sports a sharp black and red Halo leather interior with a focus on aesthetic details such as wood valances and diamond stitching on the beige ceiling and seating. In terms of main seating, the passenger cabin features two 20″ ultra-plush captain chairs upholstered in Ultra leather to offer maximum comfort. Each captain seat is enhanced with features such as vibrating massage functionality, memory-based seating configuration, 3-way seat belts, self-leveling armrests, lumbar support, along with heating and cooling elements; and much more.

Plenty of Seating

In addition to the main captain chairs, one of the more unique layout aspects of this build was the inclusion of 3-person couch seating against the partition. This enables for the van to fit a total of 5 passengers, not including the driver and co-pilot. Underneath the couch seating, lies cabinets for compact storage of personal belongings and electronic accessories.

An Abundance of Luxurious Amenities and Features

In terms of electronics, the partition wall includes a TV display equipped with an Apple TV device for streaming media or mirroring displays. Furthermore,  the front partition is able to retract inwards to enable communication between the passenger and driver cabins. For sound, the Metris features an audiophile sound system with two front speakers, side speakers and a subwoofer for superb theatre-like quality. Next to each captain chair lies one-touch button controls for the cabin to adjust their individual seat, lighting and climate preferences and electrical inputs.
